momasu: Italy; Monica started out as an eclectic artist: there was no pebble left unturned, and spared from paint, in her mom's garden; her parent's guests were held hostage for the sake of her theatrical performances; she even melted her dad's videocamera under the lights of the improvised set of her first cut out animation. It goes without saying that she studied photography, cinematography, video-making, film criticism, animation, and illustration. She still manages to converge all of the above in her work, which spans from the still to the moving pictures
